- Type C
Fee-for-Service contracts, also known as Type C contracts, ask for the lowest monthly rates and entrance fees. - Type B

- Type A
Like Types B and C, the fee for Type A plans pays residents’ utilities, funding services and amenities, maintenance, dining, activities and scheduled transportation. Type A contracts are also known as Life Care contracts. For the highest entrance fee of the three contract types, you receive certain long-term care or nursing services at no extra charge.
