Nurse Aide Trainees

Our Community is seeking individuals to participate in our next Nurse Aide Training class.  As a Nurse Aide trainee, you should be interested in serving our mission of meeting the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of all members of the Peter Becker Community and should be dedicated to our core values of service, integrity, simplicity, and love.

Job requirements:

  • PA resident
  • Ability to follow regulatory guidelines for the department
  • Experience working with older adults a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, prioritize work and to address emergencies as they may occur

The class will begin Tuesday, September 24th and go until Friday, October 25th; class is held from 7:00am – 3:00pm (hours may vary, a complete schedule will be available).  Attendance is mandatory.  You will also be required to complete a minimum of four job shadowing shifts prior to class starting.

Part Time


Cafe Cook

Our Community is seeking an individual to work as part of our Dining Services Team as a Cafe Cook.  This person will prepare food and provide exceptional service to our Cafe customers.

Job requirements:

  • Previous cooking experience required
  • Basic current knowledge of therapeutic diets, food preparation, and dining service.
  • Desire to work and thrive in a fast-paced Dining Services Industry
  • Must have a passion for working with and meeting the desires and dreams of older adults

Full Time; 11:30am-8pm.  Every other weekend and every other Holiday required.


Medication Technician, Personal Care

Our Community is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Nursing Assistant with Medication Administration Certification. You will provide direct resident care and administer medications in our Personal Care Setting.

Job requirements:

  • Current Pennsylvania Medication Administration Certification
  • Basic knowledge of health care needs of geriatric resident care
  • Current Pennsylvania Nurse Aide registry status preferred
  • Every other weekend & holiday

Full Time; 2nd Shift


Activities Coordinator, Residential Living

Our Community is seeking an experienced Activities Coordinator to join our team.  Qualified candidates will be able to work independently, have advanced knowledge of planning and conducting programs to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the residential living activities program.

Job responsibilities:

  • Ongoing development of goals and strategies for a variety of activity programs
  • Ongoing communication with residents
  • Plans and promotes special events.  Will be an active member of the Special Events Committee
  • Plans, coordinates and drives the bus or van for community outings
  • Oversees and maintains facility supplies for activities

Job requirements:

  • Current PA Class C Driver’s License, with clean driving history, CDL preferred
  • Positive and professional customer service approach with external and internal contacts
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability when required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (or equivalent combination of schooling and experience)
  • Experience working with older adults preferred

Our Community is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to work in our Health Care buildings.  Qualified candidates will be able to provide detailed and compassionate housekeeping services to our residents while following proper infection control procedures.

Job requirements:

  • Weekend availability; assigned to 5-week rotation
  • Holiday availability; assigned to 2-3 holidays per year
  • High school diploma preferred

Certified Nursing Assistants / CNA

Our Community is seeking Certified Nurse Aides to work in our Skilled Nursing Department, which serves up to 72 residents. You will be responsible for the direct and personal care of our residents while delivering compassionate and friendly service. Ideal candidates will have previous experience working in this setting and a passion for caring for older adults while successfully working in a team environment.

Job requirements:

  • Current state certification for Nursing Assistant
  • Basic knowledge of health care needs of geriatric resident care
  • Every other weekend & holiday

Half Time; 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts

Three Quarter Time; 3rd Shift

Part Time Weekend Program; 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts


LPN Team Leader

Our Community is seeking LPN Team Leaders to work in our Personal Care Department, which serves up to 72 residents. You will oversee the administration of medications, direct the care provided by nurse aides and medication technicians, and provide medical treatments as ordered by physicians.  Ideal candidates will have previous experience working in this setting and a passion for caring for older adults while successfully working in a team environment.

Job requirements:

  • Current state LPN license
  • Advanced knowledge of health care needs of geriatric resident care
  • Meet Pool scheduling requirements of at least 3 shifts per month (2 must be weekends)
  • Occasional holidays per Pool requirements

Pool; All Shifts


Food Service Worker

Now Paying $10/hour to start!

Our Community is seeking individuals to work as part of our Dining Services Team.  Multiple roles are available in the front and back of the house to enhance our resident’s dining experience. Minimal to no experience is required, just a positive attitude and desire to work in a team setting. Must be 16 years of age or older.

Part Time; Evenings and Weekends
